There are two new mobile apps which every Fourth Ward resident should have on their phone! MyCMPD and CLT+ are designed to provide helpful resources and tools at the touch of your fingertips. Here’s an overview of each app and what it entails:

MyCMPD

What is it?

MyCMPD is the official app of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. It is a community-focused app, allowing residents to be more connected, engaged, and accessible to CMPD services.

What can you do on the app?

You can stay informed about safety issues as well as directly communicate with CMPD through the app. This includes viewing an interactive map of crime in the area, reporting real-time crime (anonymously if you wish), and reading tips on various topics. There is even a COVID-19 resources page so you can stay on top of the latest official information about the pandemic.

CLT+

What is it?

CLT+ is the city of Charlotte’s service request and information app. It is another way to interact with CharMeck 311, which is the customer contact center for Charlotte residents.

What can you do on the app?

So many things! There are over 30 services you can request through the app. These include the following:

  • New traffic signal request
  • Pothole repair
  • Streetlight repair
  • Schedule a bulky item pickup
  • Report flooding
  • Look up your trash pickup day
  • And more!

You can download these two mobile apps on the App Store or Google Play. They will serve as valuable resources to you as a Charlotte resident, and will help keep our neighborhood safe and connected!
