Our LIttle Free Library, located inside Fourth Ward Park, is in need of more books. You may recognize Our Little Free Library as the little victorian house with 2 bookshelves, mounted very close to the playground inside the park.

Our Little Free Library is maintained, primarily by one of the Fourth Ward book clubs. With the pandemic, the book club members are having a very hard time keeping the library stocked. The library is filled up and within a few days it is virtually empty.

The “borrow and return” or “take a book and give a book” suggestions are not working. We see people borrowing a book, but are aware that sometimes people just take all the books at once, maybe to sell them. It is hard to know. The stock of books is disappearing faster than normal.

We appreciate community support on this. If you have any extra books, used, paperback, hardback, for adults, teens, or children that you no longer expect to use, please donate them to Our Little Free Library. Please deliver them directly to the library. If you don’t have the time or don’t want to venture out, complete the contact form on the website and we will arrange a pickup. Thank you!
