Fourth Ward Foundation made a donation to the Charlotte Symphony.
In appreciation, the Symphony is scheduling 3 performances in our own Fourth Ward community, over the next few weeks. (Smaller groups, such as quartets and trios will be performing.)
Friday, October 2nd
The McKeithen’s are hosting tables on their lawn for two dinner sittings, 6 pm, and 8 pm.
The Symphony will have a group performing from 7-7:45 pm on their porch. Alexander Michael’s is catering the event, and will be serving to the 2 seatings only. (They will not be open to the public.) Fourth Ward Foundation is renting tables, chairs, tablecloths, and decorating the tables. A donation will be given to the servers of Alexander Michaels after the event. Dinner will be purchased by the individuals sitting at the tables and is their own responsibility.
Those without a reservation are welcome to site on nearby neighbor’s porches, along with bringing your own chairs to sit along the sidewalks.
Saturday, October 10th
The Symphony is returning to play on the porch of the home of Jim and Gloria Reneger.
427 W. Pine St. at 4 pm.
You can bring chairs and sit around the park area to listen to the performance. More information will be posted on social media.
Saturday, October 17th
The final performance will be at Fifth and Poplar at 7 pm.
There is plenty of space to bring chairs, and also listen from a Fifth and Poplar balcony if yours faces the courtyard. More information is coming soon and will be posted on social media.
