Visit Fourth Ward

The Fourth Ward, approximately 30 city blocks square, is bordered by the Tryon Street business and entertainment district, Trade St., 11th St., and the historic Elmwood Pinewood Cemetery. 

The best way to see and appreciate the Fourth Ward is on foot.

Although on-street parking is reserved for credentialed residents and is regularly patrolled, ample public parking is available in the Discovery Center lot (Sixth St. near Church St.) and numerous other public parking lots.

Three Blue Line LYNX stops are nearby: Charlotte Transportation Center, 7th St., and 9th St.
