Partnerships with Friends of Fourth Ward

Fourth Ward neighborhood is unique- there is no other neighborhood in Charlotte like it. Established in 1976,  with over 6,000 residents, and now called Friends of Fourth Ward, this active neighborhood association and nonprofit foundation are approximately 30 city blocks, bordered by the Tryon Street business and entertainment district, the historic Elmwood Cemetery, and lively Trade Street. It is anchored by the beautiful Fourth Ward Park. Wandering through narrow tree-lined streets, visitors delight in seeing the grand 100+-year-old Victorians with gingerbread millwork, charming front porches, and courtyard gardens along with urban apartments and luxury condominiums.

Tens of thousands of people walk through our neighborhood, several times a year, and attend our events.

We are now offering ways for our businesses to engage with our local community. To learn more about these opportunities,  keep scrolling down.
