Officer Vinton “VK” Simpson was awarded, on October 29th, in a local awards ceremony, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Chief’s Excellent in Policing Award.
The award goes to police officers that have distinguished themselves with exceptional performance that clearly benefited Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and citizens, and the community we police and advancing in the field of policing in general.
