About Us
The Daily Details was founded by Nicole and Kiri, two sisters who worked as CPAs in Uptown, Charlotte. They dreamt of a convenient, clean & inviting place they could pop into to take care of their beauty needs. Over the course of a year, the idea began to flesh itself out to create a space for the working & multi-tasking woman. A place where she could stop into at lunch or before meetings (in-between of all of the other responsibilities in her life) to fit in her essential beauty needs.
We are an upscale beauty bar that provides a streamlined offering of salon services: blowouts/hair-styling, nails, & facial waxing. Our focus is on exceptional client service for guests on-the-go.
Fun fact: The Daily Details started as an idea for Kiri while she lived in Fourth Ward. Prior to opening, all interviews and meetings took place in the meeting room of Fifth & Poplar before our space was completed.
Sanitation has always been at the forefront of our business but during these times, you can feel assured that we are taking all precautions to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We are limiting the headcount at the shop to less than 12 people at a time, temperatures are being taken of staff and clients, handwashing at the beginning of each appointment and masks required by everyone in the space. Appointments are required but with easy online booking and extra time added to every appointment for thorough cleaning leaves you plenty of time to check out with almost no contact with other clients. We also offer free wifi to our clients as many of them “work” on the go!
