Street Lights

Street Light Outages and how to report them

Wondering how to report street light outages?

There are many streetlights in Fourth Ward.  These lights can make a real difference in neighborhood safety.

It’s easy to report the outages to Duke Energy.

  • Just go online and report them at the website link below.
  • It’s also very helpful to mark the street light that’s out with some colored tape so that it is easier for the crews to locate.
  • When you get a confirmation email from Duke, please forward it to CMPD Officer VK Simpson vsimpson1@cmpd.org
  • with a cc to Safety Committee Chair Chris Connelly at safety@fourthwardclt.org so that we can follow up on it.

Let’s work together to keep our beautiful neighborhood lighted!
