The Wooden Vine on Tryon closed its doors on August 21.
The restaurant and wine bar was an integral part of the Fourth Ward culture. It was a favorite independent establishment to visit and enjoy a beverage and a meal with owners Bethany and Michael. COVID-19 suppressed their business, and there was great concern from patrons who were saddened by the establishment’s sudden closing August 21.
Some Fourth Ward residents have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the Wooden Vine so that they can reopen. If you are so inclined, please contribute and share the campaign on your social media.
